  COVID-19 Information    

 

Please read the latest entry requirements for your destination at en.aegeanair.com/travel-updates.
Due to constant changes, passengers of international flights are strongly advised to check the relevant Governmental/Embassy advice and policy, in every country they would like to travel from/to, checking the relevant alerts and visit the official authorities’ websites. Governmental advice and policy is subject to change at short notice.
You may even be required to take a Covid-19 test, and/or submit a negative test, and/or present an official “Vaccine Passport”, and/or other relevant certificate, before you travel or on landing.
Failure to comply with any entry requirements will likely result in being unable to travel or being denied entry on arrival in your destination.

  What kind of COVID-19 related measures does AEGEAN takes?

  What documents will I need for my booking?    

 

Except from the necessary Covid-19 documentations (as detailed above) that you should carry with you, you’ll need to have some form of identification on both domestic and international flights. All customers on international flights must have a valid passport and, where required, a valid visa.

  Making a booking    

 

It is easy to make your booking online on our website, travelpackages.aegeanair.com.
Select your preferred trip (departure airport, arrival city, dates, number of travelers and rooms) and find your perfect combination of flights and hotel. If you need an assistance or more details, please email our Customer Service and specify your request.

 How can I pay for my booking?    

 

If you book more than 45 days before departure, you will have the option to either pay us a deposit only or the full payment. The deposit amount is €50 per passenger and shall be paid immediately, at the time of booking, by using an acceptable credit card which is valid thru at least 30 days before departure.
Upon successful payment, you will receive the booking confirmation, which is subject to paying the balance due.
We recommend you to make a note of your reservation number for future reference.
At 30 days before departure we will automatically charge your card with the balance due and you will receive your travel documents.
All Changes, Cancellation and Refund policies are the same for deposit and for full payment methods.

  How do I receive the booking documents?    

 

Booking confirmation and other travel documents will be received by email shortly after your booking is confirmed. If you haven’t received them, contact our Customer Service and we’ll assist you. If you have your booking reference, please add it to your email.

  What is included in the package?    

 

Every Aegean Travel Package booking includes at least flights and accommodation of your choice. The flights are provided by AEGEAN Airlines and/or Olympic Air and the accommodation is selected by you, according to your preferences, including location, budget and amenities.

  Can I change my booking?    

 

If you wish to change your confirmed booking (such as: original dates of your confirmed booking, change of flight, change of hotel or change of room), you must notify us by email as soon as possible at service@packages.aegeanair.com. This should be done by the first person named in the booking, providing as much identification as possible. An email will be sent to confirm receipt of your notice. Your notice will take effect from the date of receipt, according to the confirmation that will be sent to you
Although we will do our best to help you, we cannot guarantee that the requested change can be made. If a change request is granted, the changes will be subject to the change policy (*) as follows:
• For changes that take place up to 8 days before departure, a fee of € 50 per person and per change applies.
• For changes made 7 days or less before departure - Any changes you make are considered as a new booking and cancellation of your existing booking. Therefore, a cancellation fee is charged at 100% of the total value of the reservation (including all services, related taxes and fees), per change you make. No administration fee is added to these charges.

Charges apply to the holiday package as a whole (including flight, hotel and / or any other additional services added during the booking process, such as transfers, etc.)
Change and management charges are deducted from any payments you have already made.
In cases where you do not wish to proceed with the original booking, the cancellation policy will apply as described below.
Note: In limited cases, some Travel Services, provided by third party providers, may not be subject to change or cancellation upon confirmation and charges of up to 100% of this part of the Travel Package may apply, subject to change policy and cancellation of third party providers.
If the reason for your changes or cancellation is covered by the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to claim these charges from your insurance provider

  Can I cancel my booking?   

 

If you decide to cancel your confirmed booking, you must inform us by email, as soon as possible, to service@packages.aegeanair.com . This should be done by the first named person on the booking, providing maximum identification details. We shall reply with an email to confirm receipt of your notice. Your notice will be effective from the date on which we receive it according to our confirmation to you of its receipt. You cannot cancel only part of your booking or services.
Our cancellation policy is as following:
• Until 15 days before departure – Free cancellation. An administration fee of €50 per person is applied.
• Between 14 days and 8 days before departure – a 50% of the holiday package refund is given. No administration fee is added.
• 7 days or less prior to departure – Non-refundable. A 100% cancellation fee of total booking value (including all services, relevant taxes, and fees) is charged. No administration fee is added to that charge.

  Can I book only a hotel or a flight?    

 

AEGEAN Travel Packages do not offer the option to book a hotel or a flight separately. Every booking includes at least flights and hotel.

  Does the package include baggage and seats selection?    

 

The package includes (per person) one piece of checked baggage of up to 23 KG,
one piece of cabin baggage, up to 8kg (with max dimensions of 56cmX45cmX25cm for the Airbus fleet and 55cmX40cmX23cm for the Turboprop fleet), and additional one small personal item.
The package booking also includes seat selection option, to be completed after you finish the booking process, through a link in the confirmation email, directly to AEGEAN website at “My Booking”, where Upfront seats are available, starting from €6, and Extra Legroom seats are available, from €8.

  Do I need to buy travel insurance?    

 

You must have travel insurance when you travel with us. Please consult your insurance company or representative and make sure that your insurance fully covers all your personal requirements including cancellation charges, medical expenses and repatriation in the event of accident or illness. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance cover, we will not be liable for any losses howsoever arising, in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.

  How can I add extra baggage or other additional services to my booking?    

 

Right after the completion of your booking, you will be able to add additional services by contacting us via email to Customer Service and we’ll be glad to assist you, as much as possible, with any further request.

  Can I use any of the available options for Upgrade to Business class for bookings via AEGEAN Travel Packages?    

 

Upgrade products (such us: Upgrade with miles, complimentary upgrade with Miles+Bonus coupons, Upgrade Challenge) are out of scope for AEGEAN Travel Packages.

  Can I redeem my Credit Voucher for bookings via AEGEAN Travel Packages?    

 

No, you cannot redeem your Credit Voucher via AEGEAN Travel Packages

  Who should I contact if I have a problem with my flight booking?    

 

Our Customer Service team members will assist you with any issue you encounter as much as we can and according to our General Term and Conditions .

  Who should I contact regarding my hotel reservation?    

 

We are supporting any purchased services throughout our Customer Service . Please contact us and we’ll be glad to assist you.

  What disability and medical assistance do you provide?    

 

We are not a specialist disabled holiday company, but we will do our utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please provide us with full details before we confirm your booking so that we can try to advise you as to the suitability of your chosen Arrangements. We may require you to produce a doctor’s certificate certifying that you are fit to participate in the Arrangement. Acting reasonably, if we are unable to properly accommodate the needs of the person(s) concerned, we will not confirm your booking if you did not give us full details at the time of booking, we will cancel it and impose applicable cancellation charges when we become aware of these details. For additional information please contact our Customer Service .

  Will I benefit from my Aegean Miles+Bonus if I book an AEGEAN Travel Package?    

 

Members of the Miles+Bonus program can also earn Tier & Award miles by booking Aegean Travel Packages. Miles earned (per Tier) will be displayed in a table at the Billing Information section, upon booking completion.

  How can I benefit from Miles+Bonus, when I book via AEGEAN Travel Packages?    

 

As a member of Miles+Bonus program and as long as you enter your FFN (Miles+Bonus ID) during your booking, you can earn award and tier miles.

  Do all passengers benefit from Miles+Bonus?    

 

Yes, as long as the as your fill in your FFN (Miles+Bonus ID)

  When are award miles credited in my Miles+Bonus account?    

 

As long as you have entered your FFN during your booking via Aegean Travel Packages, you will earn award miles for your whole trip. The respective award miles will be credited in your Miles+Bonus account up to 24 hours after your hotel check out.

  When are tier miles credited in my Miles+Bonus account?    

 

As long as you have entered your FFN during your booking via Aegean Travel Packages, you will earn tier miles for your AEGEAN or Olympic Air flights. The respective tier miles will be credited in your Miles+Bonus account up to 72 hours after your flight completion.

  How can I know how many miles I earn from my booking?    

 

During your booking via AEGEAN Travel Packages, you can always find a table with all the respective miles your trip can offer you based on your tier

  Is it possible to transfer my Miles+Bonus miles to another Star Alliance member Airlines account?    

 

It is not possible to transfer your Miles+Bonus miles to another Star Alliance member Airlines account. For any query regarding your Miles+Bonus account you can visit aegeanair.com, and follow the section Help & Contact or by calling 801 11 20000 (or +30 210 6261000 from a mobile phone or abroad, on a continuous basis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week).

  Can the hotel description include some errors?    

 

The Information displayed is provided by our suppliers. You may plan your holiday a number of months in advance and changes to hotel information, facilities, activities, services and board basis could occur for a variety of reasons. Hotels could also be affected by refurbishment or renovations.
We can’t be responsible for that, but any major change we are aware of in advance, will be communicated as soon as we can, through our website, to keep you up-to-date.

  How do I check-in for my Aegean/Olympic flight?    

 

You may either check-in online or at the airport by using the self-check-in kiosks.

  Web/Mobile check-in:    

 

Check-in your AEGEAN flight conveniently on your computer, tablet or smartphone from aegeanair.com or the Aegean Apps. Save time with Online Check-in from 48 hours up to 30 minutes before your flight and get your Boarding Pass.

  How to use Online Check-in:    

 

1. Select “Check-in”, enter your last name and your booking reference or ticket number.
2. Confirm the automatically allocated seat or choose another seat for you or your travel companions.
3. Get your boarding pass by receiving it on your smartphone as a Mobile Boarding Pass or print it out. Alternatively, you may collect your Boarding Pass from an airport Kiosk or check-in counter.
4. Take your baggage to the dedicated "Drop-off" counters at the airports. If you do not have baggage, proceed towards your gate.

  How to check-in at the airport:    

 

Self-check-in at the airport is a service that allows you to check-in 24 hours to 30 minutes before the flight scheduled departure time, at the airport by yourself using the Self-Service Kiosks for one or more flights.

Validate information: You may validate your information with the following three ways:
• By inserting your AEGEAN Miles+Bonus frequent flyer card
• By inserting your passport number
• By keying in the number of your e-ticket

The system will automatically assign you a seat on the plane. However, if you wish, you can select a seat of your own choice on the seating plan which will appear on the screen. Passengers travelling as part of a group may select seats for all the group members (up to 9 persons) who have not yet checked in.

The machine is now ready to print out your boarding card.
Step 5    
Take your luggage at the dedicated "Drop-off" counters at the airports. If you do not have luggage proceed towards your gate.

  How does the deposit payment method work    

 

If you book more than 45 days before departure, you have the option of either paying a deposit - or choosing to pay the full amount in full. The deposit is set at € 50 per passenger and is paid during booking using a valid credit card. Upon successful payment of the deposit, you will receive a booking confirmation of payment of the outstanding balance. We recommend that you note down your booking number for future reference.
30 days before departure your card will be automatically charged with the amount due, and you will receive your travel documents. All change, cancellation and refund policies remain the same, for the down payment option and the full payment option.
